Byron Chai

BYRON CHAI REBRANDING

Project Description: This project redesigned the visual brand identity of Byron Chai. Byron Chai is a company that produces chai tea [a mixture of loose leaf tea, sweateners and spices]. As chai tea originated in India and as food is commonly associated with the colour red, it was used in conjunction with white as the colours for the Byron Chai brand. An indian elephant was used in the logo. The elephant is symbolic of both India and good karma [as it has its trunk up]. This shows affilliation with cultural and spiritual ties of the target market. A poster advertisement was developed for the brand right through from concept to design. The theme of the advertisement was 'a taste of India'. This theme captures the authenticity and the experience of the product.

Enmore Talks

ENMORE TALKS WEBSITE

Project Description:This website design is for Sydney Institute TAFE, The Design Centre Enmore.Enmore TAFE, as a design centre holds talks by professionals in the design industry. This allows students the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers from established artists and art directors. The purpose of the website is to market Enmore Talks to both current students at the design centre as well as a broader target market of outside creatives based in the Sydney region. The design for the home page takes on the form of a magazine layout. This layout allows for easy identification of information. From the home page, talks of the current year appear with a brief introduction to the speakers with a poster advertisement (designed by enmore graphic design students). By clicking on the ‘weeks talk’ you can find further information about those presenters. This information includes; presenters logos, links to presenters website, video of the ‘enmore talk’, photos of the evening and a written report of the night.

title sequence

TITLE SEQUENCE

Project Description: I created this title sequence for the movie Eat Pray Love, which is an adaptation of Elizabeth Gilberts novel. It stars my goldfish Venus [which is named after Boteccelli's painting Venus, as she is an underwater Goddess...]. My meditative interpretation of the title sequence aligns with Gilberts novel, a "candid, and eloquent account of her pursuit of worldly pleasure, spiritual devotion, and what she really wanted out of life".
